Title

Autonomous Agricultural Robot for Water Sprinkling and Ploughing

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient agricultural practices has led to the development of autonomous agricultural robots capable of performing essential tasks such as water sprinkling and ploughing. This paper presents the design and implementation of an Autonomous Agricultural Robot (AAR) that utilizes advanced sensor technology, microcontroller-based control systems, and automated navigation algorithms to optimize irrigation and soil preparation processes. The AAR is equipped with a water sprinkler system that can be programmed to operate based on soil moisture levels, ensuring precise and efficient water usage while minimizing waste. Additionally, the robot features a ploughing mechanism that allows for effective soil tillage, promoting better crop growth and yield. The integration of GPS and ultrasonic sensors enables the robot to navigate fields autonomously, avoiding obstacles and ensuring accurate coverage of designated areas. Preliminary field tests demonstrate the robot's capability to significantly reduce labor costs and improve operational efficiency in agricultural practices. This paper discusses the design considerations, technical specifications, and performance evaluation of the Autonomous Agricultural Robot, highlighting its potential to revolutionize modern farming by enhancing productivity and sustainability in agricultural operations.
