Title

WORK-LIFE BALANCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION: A PATH TO PRODUCTIVITY AND WELL-BEING IN JHARKHAND

Abstract

The complicated issues that colleges and universities confront and changing expectations are driving a considerable shift in the higher education sector. Faculty members' work-life balance is directly impacted by these developments, making it an important subject of conversation. It's more crucial than ever to strike a good balance between work and personal obligations as technology continues to transform educational methods. Instead of prioritising longer workdays, educational leaders must embrace creative management techniques that encourage more efficient work practices in the face of this digital revolution. Better productivity and well-being can result from harmoniously integrating work and personal obligations rather than seeing them as a strict separation. The necessity for adaptable and effective methods has increased as millennial faculty members have become more prevalent in educational institutions. Using secondary data and a qualitative research methodology, this study investigates the effects of work-life balance in higher education. Key tactics for improving faculty well-being and promoting institutional success are highlighted by the findings. In order to enhance work-life balance practices in the academic environment, the essay seeks to stimulate more discussion among educators, administrators, and stakeholders.
