Title

The Impact of In-Service Teacher Training on the Professional Development of Secondary Teachers

Abstract

Every profession has a specific place in social life. The nature and uniqueness of that profession are determined by the work it does. The foundation of all types of personal and social development is laid through education.The specialty or superiority of the teaching profession is great as teachers help a lot in the work of building society and nation. Today, there is tremendous growth in the field of knowledge.Therefore, it is impossible to live a prosperous life by taking a specific education for the future life only on that much knowledge. From this, the concept of lifelong (continuous) education emerged. According to this concept, everyone needs to learn throughout their life.In today's world, a teacher is not limited to just receiving the pre-service training required for the teaching profession. A teacher interacts with students, other teachers, heads of institutions, the community, and members of the management board.Therefore, a teacher's professional development is related to all these factors. A teacher's professional development depends on his updated knowledge and techniques.
