Title

IOT BASED AUTONOMOUS DC FAST CHARGING STATION WITH THEFT PREVENTION USING ARDUINO

Abstract

This makes EVs a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative. Additionally, optimizing the charging and discharging of electric vehicles can further reduce energy costs and pollution. As EVs grow in popularity, the number of charging stations continues to increase. However, the projected rise in EV sales soon could pose challenges related to battery recharging and power management. To address these concerns, we propose a smart power meter system for EV charging. This system integrates an RFID-based billing mechanism to streamline payment processes. The entire recharging operation is managed using Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which enhances automation and efficiency. By implementing an optimal charging and discharging strategy, the economic cost associated with the unit commitment problem can be minimized, contributing to a more efficient and sustainable energy system.
