Title

A Study Of The Life Values Of Secondary School Students In Context To Their Study Habits

Abstract

Abstract This study explores the relationship between life values and study habits among secondary school students. It aims to understand how students' core values—such as discipline, responsibility, perseverance, and ambition—influence their approach to learning. The research employs a mixed-method approach, combining surveys and interviews to analyze students' prioritization of values and their corresponding study behaviors. Findings suggest that students with strong intrinsic values, such as self-motivation and perseverance, tend to develop effective study habits, including time management and goal-setting. Conversely, those who lack clear values often struggle with consistency and focus in their studies. The study highlights the importance of instilling positive life values to enhance academic performance and overall personal growth. Educational implications suggest that schools should integrate value-based learning strategies to improve students' academic habits and success.The study highlights the necessity of including values-based education into the curriculum to cultivate responsible and socially conscious citizens. Subsequent research ought to encompass varied student demographics, investigate the impact of educators and parents, and evaluate the contribution of digital education to moral growth. This study enhances the ongoing dialogue around ethics in education and offers practical recommendations for educators and policymakers.
