Title

REVIEW ON PHENOXYBENZAMIN CAPSULES

Abstract

Ten milligrams of USP phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride are contained in each capsule. Talc and lactose anhydrous are examples of inactive substances. N-(2-chloroethyl) -N-(1-methyl-2-phenoxyethyl) benzylamine hydrochloride. With a molecule weight of 340.3 phenoxybenzamine hydrochloride is a white, solid, crystalline powder that melts at temperatures between 136 degree and 141 degree celsius. It is insoluble in ethyl acetate, easily soluble in methanol, and soluble in acetone. A wating the USP organic impurities test.
