Madhumeha can be correlated with diabetes mellitus in modern medicine, it is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood sugar levels due to insulin deficiency or resistance. Ayurvedic texts have extensively described Madhumeha and its management through dietary interventions, and lifestyle modifications, herbal formulations. Haritakyadi Kwatha Paana is an Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation explained in the Sushruta Samhita Prameha Chikitsa Adhyaya known for its potential to balance blood sugar levels and manage symptoms of diabetes. This case study explores the therapeutic efficacy of Haritakyadi Kwatha Paana in managing a patient diagnosed with Madhumeha. For 90 days, the patient was administered Haritakyadi Kwatha along with lifestyle recommendations. Clinical evaluations were monitored throughout the treatment period, including blood glucose levels, HbA1c, and symptom improvement. Clinically the results were assessed with the help of subjective and objective parameters. No adverse effects were observed during the treatment period. The study highlights the potential of Haritakyadi Kwatha Paana as a complementary approach to manage Madhumeha, offering a natural and holistic option for patients.
