Skin is the primary source for the entrance of microorganism, it is the defensive layer of the body. We can prevent the entrance of pathogen in body by maintaining the hygiene , it can be done by using the soap while bathing or hand washing. The chemical based soap contain harsh chemical which can cause damage to skin. Herbal soap are made from plant based ingredient and their extraction. Some plants are known to have anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, anti-scar, anti-spot, anti-acne and anti-wrinkle effect. The prepared soap formulation were evaluated in different parameter like color, odor, pH, foam forming, skin irritability etc.
