Abstract
Library plays a crucial role in the educational system, as it manages print resources and provides information services through online electronic resources. With open access, information is now available at users' fingertips. Publishers are ahead in using new technologies, such as web 2.0 and web 3.0, for scholarly communication. This paper discusses how academic libraries are adapting to these changes, how librarians handle challenges in the digital era, and how future academic libraries will be. The paper also explores the future of academic libraries and the role of libraries in the evolving educational landscape.
