Abstract
Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), a prominent herb in Ayurvedic medicine, has been traditionally utilized for its adaptogenic properties, particularly in managing stress and anxiety. Recent scientific investigations have delved into its molecular mechanisms, revealing its potential efficacy in treating anxiety disorders. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the molecular actions of Ashwagandha in anxiety modulation, supported by findings from peer-reviewed research and Ayurvedic literature.
