Light of the Centenary illuminated Smt. Abha Maiti is so famous a name of our territory that she needs no introduction especially as to her austere personal life-style. In today's society, women are self-sufficient in the development of their personality. You can walk alone in the path of life. Women have left the mark of talent in all spheres of social life. Smt. Abha Maiti was equally adept as men in intelligence heart and work. She was equal in politics and governance. She is independent in self-glory in communication with the outside world, in the transition of women's society and in the welfare of all classes. Smt. Abha Maiti is a bright personality of women's society politics in independent India. She is the inheritor of bravery, courage, patriotism, self-sacrifice and fighting spirit of heroism Pritilata, Sarojini Naidu, Matangini Hazra etc. This article highlighted to assess the soulful lady with the lamp of women empowerment and to know her excellence personality in Indian politics and power. Not only that this paper tried to explore, how to establish and how to achieve political, economic, cultural personal and social rights for women empowerment.
