In telehealth and telemedicine, blockchain technology has become a game-changer, providing answers to persistent problems with data security, interoperability, patient privacy, and trust. The integration of blockchain technology with remote healthcare services is examined in this study, with a focus on how it might be used to build decentralized, transparent, and irreversible health data ecosystems. The potential of several blockchain elements, including as distributed ledgers, smart contracts, and patient-controlled data access, to improve the effectiveness and dependability of telemedicine is investigated. Real-world applications and case studies such as MedRec and Medicalchain are analyzed to illustrate practical implementations. The study also addresses current issues with technical interoperability, scalability, and regulatory compliance while suggesting future lines of inquiry into decentralized clinical trials, global health networks, and AI integration. According to the study's findings, blockchain has a lot of potential to advance safe, patient-centered, and effective telehealth and telemedicine services when used judiciously in conjunction with complementing technologies.
