ARE YOU SICK OF HOMESICKNESS
Abstract
Homesickness is a complex emotional state that arises from the separation from familiar environments, routines, and relationships. This research explores the manifestations of homesickness, its causes, symptoms, and impacts across various demographics, including teenagers, college students and adults. Data was collected through an online questionnaire covering various aspects of homesickness, such as emotional and physical symptoms, coping mechanisms, and social adjustments. The study identifies key factors contributing to homesickness, including separation from loved ones, cultural differences, and lack of social support.
