This paper presents the design and implementation of a dynamic Online Bookstore using PHP and MySQL. It also discusses the design and performance problems encountered during the implementation of the system. The focus during design and implementation was on creating a user-friendly product allowing executives and customers to discover, purchase, and manage books effortlessly. Some of the interesting features that the website offers are customer testimonials, interactive shopping cart and a good order processing system. The system has been built with the objectives of catering to increasing client traffic and large quantities of data. It solves and mitigates the issues concerning network updates, like vulnerabilities on current state and challenges in the database performance. It helps them to overcome challenges and leverage e-commerce to showcase the products for sale, which is really quite amazing. The system design give producers and a bigger audience a pleasant look into e-commerce, the user interfaces are responsive, user-friendly and user-experience centered on the customer expectations.
