Title

Biometric and RFID-Enabled Multi-Bank Account Embedded System

Abstract

This study proposes a novel multi-account ATM system designed to overcome the limitations of traditional ATM systems, which typically restrict users to accessing a single bank account per card. The system integrates biometric authentication, RFID-based verification, and IoT connectivity to provide secure, flexible, and user-friendly account access. It is implemented using an ATmega328p microcontroller, NodeMCU (ESP8266) for network communication, a fingerprint sensor for secure login, and an RFID module for identity validation. This setup allows users to switch between multiple linked bank accounts after successful biometric authentication. Furthermore, the integration of a GSM module enables real-time SMS alerts for all transactions, reducing fraud risks and enhancing transparency. The prototype has been tested for key performance indicators such as authentication accuracy, transaction speed, and security, confirming its potential as a secure and scalable solution for modern banking environments.
