The development of an e-commerce web application utilizing the MERN stack, a robust full-stack JavaScript framework comprising MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, showcases the potential of modern web technologies in building scalable and dynamic online platforms. The study focuses on designing a scalable and efficient architecture that integrates a dynamic user interface, secure backend services, and a flexible NoSQL database. Key features include real-time inventory management, advanced search optimization, and secure payment processing. The methodology encompasses component-based UI development with React.js, RESTful API implementation using Express.js and Node.js, and data handling through MongoDB's aggregation framework. Performance benchmarks demonstrate enhanced scalability and responsiveness, with the system capable of handling high traffic loads and large datasets. The results indicate significant improvements in development speed and operational efficiency compared to traditional stacks. This research highlights the potential of MERN technology in revolutionizing e-commerce platforms by offering a seamless user experience and robust back-end integration. Future work aims to incorporate AI-driven personalization and blockchain-based payment systems to further enhance functionality.
