With aging individuals often experience a decline in bone density and an increased risk of osteoporosis, emphasizing the need for innovative dietary strategies to support skeletal health. This study aims to develop a functional muffin enriched with calcium and Cissus quadrangularis, a medicinal plant recognized for its bone-healing and anti-inflammatory properties. The research involves the formulation, optimization, and nutritional evaluation of the product to ensure it meets the dietary needs of the elderly while maintaining sensory acceptability. By incorporating bioavailable calcium and phytochemicals from Cissus quadrangularis, the muffin serves as a convenient dietary option to promote bone health and empower healthy aging. The study highlights the potential of integrating traditional plant-based ingredients into modern functional foods targeted at the aging population.
