Title

COIN-BASED EV CHARGING WITH BATTERY FAULT ALERT SYSTEM

Abstract

With the increasing adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs), there is a growing need for reliable and accessible charging infrastructure. This project presents a Coin-Based Electric Vehicle Charging System integrated with a Battery Fault Alert System, providing a cost-effective and user-friendly solution for EV charging. The system allows users to pay for charging by inserting coins, making it ideal for locations where digital payment options may not be readily available. The core of the system is an ESP32 microcontroller that manages the charging process, ensuring efficient power delivery while simultaneously monitoring the battery’s health. The system utilizes current sensors, voltage sensors, and temperature sensors to continuously assess the battery’s condition. In the event of abnormalities such as overvoltage, overheating, or charging failures, the system triggers a real-time alert via an I2C LCD display, notifying users of potential issues. This innovative solution not only enhances the accessibility of EV charging stations but also ensures the safety and longevity of EV batteries, fostering a more sustainable and reliable infrastructure for electric transportation.
