Title

Navigation System for Railway Platform

Abstract

Navigating large railway stations can be a daunting task due to their complex layouts, language barriers, and lack of efficient navigation aids. The "Navigation System for Railway Platform" aims to address these issues by providing real-time, interactive guidance through a mobile application. Developed using React Native, this system integrates 3D mapping, augmented reality (AR), and real-time navigation technologies. The system includes features such as a 3D map viewer with zoom, pan, and rotate functionalities, real-time GPS tracking, and step-by-step navigation to destinations such as ticket counters, platforms, restrooms, and food stalls. It supports multilingual assistance and voice guidance, making it accessible to a diverse user base. The backend, developed with Node.js and Firebase, manages real-time data processing and updates. By improving user experience and accessibility, this project transforms station navigation into a seamless, efficient, and user-friendly process, paving the way for future integration with train schedules and ticketing systems
