Title

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF MULTIPURPOSE AGRICULTURAL MACHINE (AGRIBOT)

Abstract

The Agri-Bot is a multipurpose agricultural machine designed to automate essential farming operations such as ploughing, seed sowing, and water spraying, reducing manual labour and enhancing efficiency. It integrates mechanical and electronic systems, operating via RF remote control for ease of use. Powered by a rechargeable battery, it ensures sustainable and cost-effective farming, making it ideal for small and medium-scale agricultural operations. The design process involved 3D modelling in CATIA, enabling precise fabrication and structural stability. The system incorporates a motor-driven ploughing mechanism, a seed dispensing unit for uniform sowing, and an efficient irrigation system to optimize water usage. Model calculations validate the machine's power efficiency, torque requirements, and operational reliability, ensuring smooth performance in real-world conditions. This project demonstrates the potential of automation in agriculture, significantly reducing labour costs while improving productivity. The Agri-Bot presents an innovative and scalable solution for modern precision farming, contributing to the advancement of smart agriculture.
