Parking space management is a severe issue in urban regions because of growing vehicle density. This article introduces a low-cost and microcontroller-based intelligent parking system based on the ATmega32A microcontroller and Ultrasonic sensors. Parking slots are sensed by Ultrasonic sensors for vehicle detection. The system displays in real-time parking space availability on an LCD and regulates entry/exit gates according to slot availability. LED indicators offer visual feedback: green LED for free slots and red LED for occupied slots. The system provides a scalable, low-power solution to smart parking in commercial or residential areas.
