Abstract: Radar systems must operate effectively in environments with significant interference, such as ground clutter and jamming. Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) is a signal processing technique that enhances radar capabilities by jointly exploiting spatial and temporal data to suppress interference and detect targets. In this study, we implemented a fully adaptive STAP algorithm using MATLAB to simulate and evaluate multi-target detection. The results indicate that STAP improves detection accuracy, especially under jamming conditions, and benefits from tapering techniques that reduce side lobe levels for better target clarity.
