Title

Design and Analysis of Rectenna for Wireless Power Transmission

Abstract

This work is centered on the design and analysis of a rectenna (rectifying antenna) for wireless power transmission (WPT). A rectenna is a device that transforms radio frequency (RF) or microwave energy into usable direct current (DC) power and, therefore, is critical in efficient wireless energy transfer systems. The research entails the design of an optimized antenna using Schottky diode for efficient power reception and a rectifier circuit for maximum energy conversion efficiency. Overarching challenges are integrating the antenna-rectifier, frequency selection, and reducing losses in energy. The project proposes to design Rectenna using Schottky diode.
