This paper presents the design and implementation of an automated fuel dispensing system utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to streamline fuel management and enhance operational efficiency at fuel stations. The proposed system leverages RFID cards for secure vehicle authentication, an ATmega2560 microcontroller for process control, and a relay module to activate fuel dispensing mechanisms. Upon verification of a registered RFID tag, the system retrieves the user's balance, allows fuel quantity selection via a keypad, and initiates automated dispensing, with real-time information displayed on an LCD module. The integration aims to reduce manual intervention, eliminate unauthorized access, and ensure accurate tracking of fuel consumption. Experimental validation demonstrated high system accuracy (98% tag match rate), rapid transaction time (average 5 seconds), and strong user satisfaction (92% positive feedback). This RFID-based approach offers a cost-effective, scalable, and secure solution for modernizing traditional fuel stations and fleet fuel management systems.
