AI BASED CHATBOTS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE

Abstract

AI-powered chatbots are rapidly becoming a cornerstone of modern customer service, offering businesses the ability to interact with customers more efficiently and at scale. By leveraging natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and conversational AI, these chatbots can understand, interpret, and respond to a wide range of customer inquiries in real time. They provide 24/7 availability, reduce wait times, and help companies manage high volumes of customer interactions without overwhelming human support teams. Beyond handling routine questions, advanced AI chatbots are also capable of learning from past conversations, personalizing responses, and seamlessly integrating with CRM systems to enhance the overall customer experience. While they are not a complete replacement for human interaction, chatbots act as a valuable first point of contact, improving service quality and operational efficiency. This paper explores the development, implementation, benefits, and challenges of AI-based chatbots in customer service, as well as their potential to reshape how businesses connect with their customers in the digital age.
