Title

ENHANCING PATENT SEARCH AND EXAMINATION PROCEDURES WITH PATENT ANALYTICS.

Abstract

Abstract The procedures of patent search, inspection, and management have been totally revolutionized by artificial intelligence (AI), which has improved efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making. Artificial intelligence (AI)-powered patent analytics solutions, such as Patlytics, employ advanced machine learning algorithms and natural language processing (NLP) to streamline complex procedures including infringement spotting, patent drafting, prior art discovery, and whitespace analysis. Such characteristics enhance the accuracy of patentability and intellectual property risk evaluations and expedite the patent prosecution process. In order to solve persistent issues in patent procedures, such as lowering examiner workload, minimizing human mistake, and enhancing prior art detection, this study investigates the possible advantages of AI-powered patent analytics tools. Furthermore, by facilitating real-time monitoring of technical developments and competitive landscapes, it assesses how AI may provide strategic insights for businesses, researchers, and patent specialists. The study also looks at the ethical and legal ramifications of incorporating AI into patent procedures, with a focus on data privacy, algorithmic transparency, and adherence to international intellectual property laws. By analysing the revolutionary implications of artificial intelligence (AI) on patent analytics, this article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of AI for companies, patent offices, and legal experts. Assuring security and regulatory compliance in patent examination and prosecution, the findings show how AI-powered patent analytics foster innovation and strengthen the IP ecosystem.
