Smart Agriculture Crop Advisor System for Kisan Using AI

Abstract

In the face of growing global food demand and increasing climatic unpredictability, the integration of technology in agriculture has become essential for sustainable crop production. The Smart Agriculture: Crop Advisor System is an innovative solution designed to assist farmers and agricultural professionals in identifying optimal crop-growing conditions through a data-driven, user-friendly platform. This system allows users to search for specific plant names and receive tailored recommendations regarding ideal humidity levels, temperature ranges, soil types, and rainfall requirements. By leveraging real-time environmental data and historical agricultural patterns, the system provides scientifically grounded, expert-backed advice aimed at maximizing crop yield and minimizing resource wastage. Unlike traditional advisory services that are often generalized or region-specific, this system focuses on personalization and precision, making it adaptable to a wide range of geographical and climatic conditions. The goal is to empower users—particularly those in underserved or rural communities with actionable insights that improve decision-making, boost productivity, and support sustainable agricultural practices. Additionally, the system has the potential to evolve through integration with IoT devices, AI-based prediction models, and multilingual support, further enhancing its accessibility and effectiveness. This research explores the design, development, and impact of the Crop Advisor System while addressing the gaps in current agricultural technologies. Through thorough analysis and user-centered development, the project demonstrates how smart agriculture tools can bridge the gap between traditional farming knowledge and modern technological advancements, paving the way for a more resilient and informed agricultural sector.
