Title

DETECTION OF BONE MARROW HEXAGON SHAPE PHOTONIC CRYSTAL FIBER USING BENZENE C6H6

Abstract

Benzene poses significant health risks, including adverse effects on bone marrow, leading to decreased red blood cell count and potential anemia. It can also induce excessive bleeding, compromise the immune system, and elevate the risk of infection. This paper endeavors to design a system with high sensitivity (76%) to benzene, the wavelength range between 1 µm to 1.5 µm, aiming to mitigate its detrimental impacts on bone marrow, blood cells, the central nervous system, and cardiac function. The proposed approach employs Photonic Crystal Fiber (PCF), focusing on parameters are effective mode index, mode area, and power in the core. Through strategic arrangements of cladding and core shapes within the PCF structure, the goal is to optimize sensitivity and minimize confinement loss. The outcomes of this research contribute to mitigating the adverse effects of benzene (C6H6) exposure.
