Title

PAINT AND ARTS USE IN CAMPUS REFLECTS INTO THE STUDENTS’ MOOD.

Abstract

This research explores the application and impact of sustainable paints and finishes within campus architecture, with a focus on promoting environmentally responsible design and improving occupant health. Conventional surface paints are often associated with high levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), non-biodegradable content, and significant ecological footprints. In contrast, sustainable alternatives offer low-VOC emissions, renewable ingredients, and improved indoor air quality, making them ideal for educational institutions committed to sustainability. Educational architecture's emphasis has recently changed from purely functional spaces to holistic settings that promote learning and mental health. The artistic paints and colours is an architectural feature that has long been a part of many building typologies, particularly in educational contexts across cultural boundaries. This study examines how paints affect students psychologically, highlighting how they enhance social interaction, mental wellness, and cognitive function. To comprehend how colours affect students' behavior and pleasure, the study consults various interdisciplinary sources, including environmental psychology, architectural design, and case studies.
