The present study aimed to assess the perceived stress levels among working mothers of children aged 5–10 years during the lockdown period associated with virtual learning, conducted at Amity University, Haryana. A purposive sampling technique was employed to select 60 working mothers as study participants. Data were collected using the standardized Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) via Google Forms. The results indicated that a majority of participants (60%; n=36) experienced moderate levels of stress, followed by 31.7% (n=19) reporting high stress levels, while only 8.3% (n=5) exhibited low levels of stress. These findings suggest that virtual learning environments during the lockdown imposed significant psychological burdens on working mothers. The use of the modified PSS proved to be effective in identifying stress levels in this population, emphasizing the need for stress management strategies tailored to working mothers.
