Title

Preliminary Phytochemical analysis and evaluation of antibacterial activity of Ficus dalhousiae Miq.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Herbal medicine is defined as a branch of science in which plant-based formulations are used to assuage diseases. It is also acknowledged as botanical medicines or phyto medicine. Of late, the term ‘phyto therapy’ has been introduced as a more accurate synonym for herbal or botanical medicine. Methodology: Microscopic examination and characterization of medicines have always been accorded due to credentials in the pharmacognostic studies. Many investigators to ask “why powder microscopically, physic chemical parameters have to be studied in medicines” one should always remember that botanical identity of the medicine is an essential prerequisite for undertaking the analysis of medicinal properties of any plant. The researcher should be equipped with all possible evaluation techniques and identification procedures for the plan of the plant on which he plans to work. Results and discussion: The output of the present study has created new venue for the future researchers. In Vitro, In Vivo antimicrobial property, it would be worthy if the exact molecular mechanism behind this novel activity is Explore. Conclusion: In vitro antimicrobial property was concluded that it has a better antibacterial activity against gram positive and gram negative microbes than the fungal microorganisms.
