This project focuses on the design and fabrication of a manually operated seed sowing machine tailored for small and medium-scale farmers. The machine ensures uniform seed spacing and depth, aiming to reduce labor, time, and seed wastage associated with traditional sowing methods. It operates on a ground-wheel-driven mechanism connected to a seed metering disc for precision sowing. The design emphasizes simplicity, affordability, and ease of use, making it ideal for rural farming conditions. Experimental tests conducted with various seed types confirmed its consistent performance. The machine offers a practical step toward mechanization in sustainable agriculture.
