This paper presents the design of a E Slotted microstrip patch antenna intended for millimeter wave applications within the frequency range of 1.2GHz to 7GHz The objective is to enhance the antenna's bandwidth and gain of the proposed antenna with dimension 30mm x 40mm x 1.6mm. The design of the antenna employs FR4 epoxy dielectric material, characterized by a dielectric constant ℇr is 4.4. Following the successful optimization of the proposed antenna, its performance is assessed by evaluating the return loss is -23.14 dB at 6.102 GHz and -11.47 dB at 1.38 GHz and gain characteristics. Finally, after fulfilling the predefined objectives, an analysis of the radiation characteristics is conducted to gain insights into the antenna's radiation properties in E-plane and H-plane. Also, the radiation characteristics of the proposed antenna satisfy the criteria in both E-plane and H- plane. This proposed antenna is widely suitable for dual band polarization of Satellite Communications & Broadcasting applications.
