Title

Accreditation and Equivalency Program (A&E) Implementation of Alternative Learning System (ALS) in the Division of Naga City

Abstract

The level of efficiency of the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) program implementation of the Alternative Learning System (ALS), Division of Naga City for the school year 2020 – 2023 was determined using descriptive – comparative - correlational methods of research. Findings revealed that the level of efficiency of Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Program as perceived by ALS learners was highly implemented as reflected in the result of the weighted mean, while the level of efficiency of Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Program as perceived by ALS teachers was very highly implemented. Moreover, there was significant difference in the level of efficiency of Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Program between groups. However, there was no significant relationship in the level of efficiency of the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Program between groups. Finally, Project SHELL (Setting a Healthy Environment for a Life-long Learning), as an intervention program, if implemented properly could improve the implementation of Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Program.
