As we know that, all forms of tobacco related toxicity is too much harmful for damages of internal physiological health through directly or indirectly. Nowadays, its improved by many research Work and it’s also established that like smoking tobacco, smokeless form are also most of toxic for general physiological health through alternation of different parameters (body weight, hematological, liver enzymatic parameters and histology etc). Still now, a little research Work has been conducted on smokeless form of tobacco especially zarda tobacco (chewing form) regarding STP induced changes in body Weight along With histological (esophagus, stomach, liver, small intestine and large intestine), hematological (RBC, WBC, Platelets, Hb), liver enzymatic study (Serum GOT, GPT, ALP, LDH and CRP) parameters in male albino rat. In this study, we also tried to find out the effects of LD50 and ED50 of common form of STP zarda.
