Phobias are irrational and uncontrollable fears triggered by a situation, object or activity.¹ Phobic Anxiety Disorder (PAD) is recognized as a persistent psychiatric condition, marked by overwhelming and irrational fears leading to the avoidance of particular situations, objects, or activities. Within homeopathic practice, repertories—especially the Synthesis Repertory—offer a systematic framework for analysing and managing PAD by organizing symptoms and facilitating targeted remedy selection. This article examines the role of the Synthesis Repertory in the homeopathic management of phobic anxiety disorders, emphasizing important rubrics, corresponding remedies, and their clinical relevance. Additionally, it highlights the necessity of a holistic perspective that encompasses mental, emotional, and physical dimensions of health. The evidence suggests that employing the Synthesis Repertory enhances the precision of remedy selection, ultimately leading to better therapeutic outcomes in individuals suffering from phobic anxiety disorders.
