Title

The Role of Technology in Bridging the Education Gap in Developing Countries

Abstract

The persistent education gap between developed and developing nations poses a significant challenge to global equity and progress. In recent years, educational technology (EdTech) has emerged as a powerful tool to address disparities in access, quality, and inclusivity. This paper explores how EdTech is being deployed to bridge the education gap in developing countries by enhancing access, promoting inclusive learning, and providing cost-effective educational resources. It also examines the challenges—such as digital infrastructure, training, and socio-economic barriers—that hinder its full potential. Through case studies and current data, this paper argues that while technology is not a standalone solution, it can significantly accelerate progress toward educational equity if implemented thoughtfully and inclusively.
