Title

Physico- Chemical Characterization of Leachate of Passive Landfill Site

Abstract

Abstract: Over 90% of urban fixed waste in developing countries is disposed of in landfills. In Bhutan, approximately 90% of the company's waste is disposed of in landfills. One of the key issues associated with landfills is the production of permeation water. Conservative blotting is heavily contaminated waste containing highly concentrated OM, measured as BOD and COB, ammonia, halogenated hydrocarbons, and trace elements. Direct release of permeable water into the environment can represent potential risks and risks to public health and ecosystems. The results of the study showed that landfills could be treated in both ways to reduce the concentration of specific parameters. Aerobic treatment improved permeation water quality, primarily by removing ammonia and OM (>95%). In contrast to ventilation, this significantly reduced pollutants and caused anoxicity. Individual experiments have essentially ensured volumetric treatment by reducing the soluble reactive phosphorus concentration (SRP). BFS and GAC are 92% or. 67% developed as sand (40%).
