This study explores how artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more integrated into higher education. It attempts to analyse the benefits and drawbacks of using AI in this field. Artificial intelligence is transforming several industries at a rapid pace, and this has a significant influence on conventional methods. Artificial intelligence (AI) has shown efficiency, improved accuracy, and time-saving advantages, but it has also been linked to disadvantages and lost chances. AI has a critical role in influencing educational paradigms and practices in higher education. This study aims to investigate the potential benefits and drawbacks of AI while highlighting its potential contributions to the educational system. It seeks to provide insight into how to maximise AI's advantages while reducing its hazards by examining its effects on higher education. In the end, the goal is to ensure that AI technologies are harnessed in the best interests of both students and educators.
