Title

A OCCUPATIONAL STRESS STUDY OF IT SECTOR EMPLOYEES IN DELHI- NCR

Authors

Abstract

Abstract The world was meant to be a place where people might live peacefully by working and earning a living. However, in today's world, the workplace has become a place where stress and depression coexist, and this illness has extended across generations, affecting even young individuals. Stress can be present in a variety of things, including humidity, air, metals, and animals, but it is most prevalent in humans due to our surroundings. Nature has produced a beautiful atmosphere that should be peaceful, yet it is being damaged by stress. When viewed positively, stress can act as a motivator to achieve in life and propel us to the next level; yet, when viewed negatively, it can force people to ruin themselves to an extent that is beyond our comprehension. Stress can be regarded favourably or adversely. Stress is the root cause of depression, which can then result in hypertension, mental illness, exhaustion, rage, insomnia, heart attacks, silence, and other disorders that have such a severe detrimental effect on people's health that they may even cause death. Even though stress-relieving exercises like yoga were meant to reduce stress in the first place, people have claimed to feel even more agitated after engaging in such routines.
