This project deals with the analysis of break-even quantity (BEQ) for businesses with multiple products. The objective is to understand how it benefits in the terms of profitability and the production of the company. Each product in the company has its own Selling price and variable cost even though the fixed cost of the company remains the same. Conventional BEQ models are meant to find solutions for a single product. In our study, a new BEQ model for multiple products is derived from the conventional model. But our model generates an enormous number of solutions, which are time-driven for manual calculation. To reduce the time taken process we have designed a computational language in Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) for two products. Since more than a single product is recognized as multiple products, we took our prototype model for two products. The designed code follows an iterative method which gives multiple combinations of solutions. In short, the project demonstrates how computational programming languages can support financial decision-making in complex, multi-product business environments.
