Title

Instructional Leadership of Teachers and Parental Involvement: Effects on Reading Performance of Learners

Abstract

The influence of the level of instructional leadership of teachers and parental involvement on the reading performance of Grade 4 learners for the school year 2023-2024 was determined using descriptive-correlational methods of research. Findings indicated that the instructional leadership practices of teachers were very highly effective; the level of parental involvement in the reading performance of Grade 4 learners was very highly involved; the level of reading performance of Grade 4 learners was very highly efficient; and active parental engagement and effective teaching strategies are essential for maximizing learners' reading achievements and overall academic development.
