Title

A Study on the Relationship Between Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and Employees' Performance in Contemporary Working Environment

Abstract

In the dynamic and evolving nature of today’s workplaces, understanding the link between Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) and employee performance has become increasingly significant. This study investigates the relationship between OCB and employee performance within the contemporary working environment, characterized by digitalization, flexibility, and diversity. Drawing on data collected through surveys from 200 employees across various sectors, the research explores how dimensions of OCB influence task performance, contextual performance, and adaptive performance. The findings reveal a positive correlation between OCB and overall employee performance, highlighting the role of altruism, conscientiousness, and civic virtue. The study concludes with practical implications for HR strategies and organizational policies aimed at fostering a culture of citizenship behavior in modern workplaces.
