Fertility is the natural ability to reproduce, influenced by factors such as age, health, and reproductive conditions. Awareness of fertility-related issues is essential for reproductive-age individuals, enabling informed decisions about family planning. Despite the importance of fertility awareness, knowledge gaps persist, particularly among women in general practice settings. Educational tools like pamphlets can improve fertility knowledge and attitudes. To assess the existing knowledge and attitude regarding fertility awareness among reproductive-age women. To determine the effectiveness of a pamphlet on fertility awareness by post-test among reproductive-age women. To correlate knowledge and attitude regarding fertility awareness. To identify associations between pre-test knowledge and attitude scores with selected demographic variables. A quasi-experimental study with a quantitative research approach was conducted among 94 reproductive-age women, selected through convenience sampling. Data on knowledge and attitudes regarding fertility awareness were collected using a self-administered questionnaire. A pamphlet on fertility awareness was provided, followed by reinforcement on day 3. A post-test was conducted on day 7 for both the experimental and control groups using the same questionnaire. The findings revealed a significant improvement in post-test knowledge (mean score: 16.97) and attitude (mean score: 67.82), with paired t-test values of 40.577 and 36.951 (p < 0.05), indicating the effectiveness of the pamphlet. No significant association was found between pre-test scores and demographic variables. The study concluded that the fertility-awareness pamphlet significantly improved knowledge and attitudes among reproductive-age women. Increased knowledge positively influenced attitudes, with no significant impact from demographic factors, highlighting the pamphlet’s broad effectiveness.
