ABSTRACT This study assesses the nutritional and physical health status of children aged 3–12 years in Christianpally, Mahabubnagar, Telangana, focusing on key determinants such as diet, fitness, sanitation, and hygiene. Through community engagement, the research highlights the role of awareness campaigns—including poster presentations on balanced diets and healthy lifestyles—in promoting preventive health measures. Involving children as messengers to disseminate nutrition-related information to families and peers proved an effective strategy. The study identifies prevalent nutritional deficiencies in the community and provides evidence-based recommendations to improve dietary practices. Findings underscore the need for targeted interventions to enhance health literacy and foster long-term societal well-being.
