The present study has been undertaken with the aim to formulate and evaluate the anti-inflammatory roll-on containing Glycyrrhiza glabra roots extract. The roll-on formulation was designed by using oil extract of roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra. Roll-on is a semi-solid preparation containing volatile oils are used to treat inflammation and relieve pain. Roll-on contains mixture of volatile oils such as Glycyrrhiza glabra oil, fish oil, curcuma amada oil. The Glycyrrhiza glabra shows strong anti-inflammatory property. Additionally, the fish oil also shows anti-inflammatory property, curcuma amada oil shows anti-inflammatory as well as antimicrobial property, camphor shows property of aromatherapy and preservative, menthol provide cooling effect and relieve pain and petroleum jelly moisturize skin and act as a base ingredient. The prepared all batches of roll-on (F1, F2, F3, F4.) Which evaluated the parameter such as organoleptic test, homogeneity, after feel test, stability test, pH test, removal and Determination of Maximum Wavelength, Drug permeation study, Determination of drug release kinetics to observe effects or side effects.
