Title

Challenges and Coping Mechanism of Teacher-Coaches

Abstract

The challenges and coping mechanisms of secondary school teacher-coaches in Calabanga District, Division of Camarines Sur during the SY 2024-2025 were determined using the Descriptive-Correlational design. Findings indicated significant relationship between the challenges and coping mechanisms of teacher-coaches shown in priorities and time management. This meant that teacher-coaches are effective in addressing challenges related to time management and priorities through corresponding coping mechanisms. No significant relationship in challenges and coping mechanisms of teacher-coaches in resources, instructional function, focus and productivity and communication. This means that teacher-coaches have difficulties in addressing challenges they encountered related to the said aspects. There is a strong influence of coping mechanisms to the challenges encountered by teacher-coaches indicated in the priorities and time management. This means that teacher-coaches excel in prioritization strategies, which significantly contribute to their ability to balance dual roles. However, coping mechanisms in focus and productivity shown weak influence to the challenges encountered by teacher-coaches.
