Title

ROLE OF NANOCOATINGS IN INCREASING SOLAR PV EFFICIENCY

Abstract

More sustainable and purer than any other energy source is solar energy. Pollution, dust from traffic, and bird droppings are the main cause of solar PV panels decreased efficiency. Maintaining optimal performance requires cleaning solar panels every few weeks, which is particularly challenging for big arrays of solar panels. The commercial detergents can be expensive, time consuming and environmentally harmful when used to clean filthy panels. The use of nano coatings is one potential remedy to address the dust induced reduction in solar PV power output. Numerous cleaning and conservation techniques have been put forth and employed for years to address this issue but they are expensive and provide results with little efficiency. The use of nano coatings on solar panel covers, which more Thoroughly eliminate these effects is currently the most successful functional technique. Here we're talking about self-cleaning nano coatings that improve the efficiency of solar panels. Because of their excellent qualities that are not usually present in conventional coatings, nanostructured coatings have a lot of potential for a variety of applications. In addition to keeping solar panels cleaner and performing at their best for longer than traditional panels, a nanocoating keeps dust, pollen and other particles at bay.

Key Words
