Creative pattern cutting design is a radical revolution in the fashion industry, to move beyond process of the construction of garments, have united aspect as sculptural art, sustainability and technology. This study investigates the development, methods and pragmatic application of creative pattern cut design theory in the worldwide fashion sector, directly addressing its contribution to design innovation, sustainability and body inclusivity. After conducting a critical literature review, as well as using industry case examples, the following paper highlights how creative pattern cutting design acts as an enabler towards challenging notions of fashion aesthetics and functionality within a fast-paced industry context. The methodology used in this research is qualitative and based on secondary data.
