The Ayurvedic practice is still used today to treat many conditions and improve public health . The present work concludes development and quantification of marker compounds in the proposed ayurvedic formulation. For the identification and measurement of bioactive marker components such gallic acid, catechin, and resveratrol in two commercially available and house-made formulations of Draksharishta, an HPTLC method was created. The key characteristics of this approach are its low cost, increased speed, and excellent precision and accuracy. According to ICH requirements, the approach was effectively verified, and statistical analysis demonstrated its robustness, sensitivity, specificity, and repeatability. The technique can be used for regular in-process quality control and final product evaluation.
